February may be the shortest month, but we still rolled out plenty of Wistia product updates! Building on the momentum from January, we continued to supercharge Wistia Live, streamline our content management capabilities, and add some more oomph to our API.

Further upgrades to Wistia Live
Live event customization: With brand new customization options, you can now inject your brand’s personality into every aspect of your live events, from registration pages to live event rooms and confirmation emails.
Background blurring: No more worrying about clutter or unfolded laundry stealing the spotlight. Now with the ability to blur your background during webinars, you can keep your audience focused on the main event — you!
Duplicate events: We’ve made it a breeze to duplicate live events, which is perfect for a recurring webinar series. Just hover over your event, hit “Copy Live Event,” throw in a few tweaks, and you’re ready to roll.
Seamless event management: With intuitive hover controls right on the event stage, you can pin, remove, or mute panelists — making sure everything goes off without a hitch.
Even more streamlined content management
Filter by media type: Easily navigate through your content library with the new “Media Type” filter. Whether you’re searching for videos, audio files, or documents, finding what you need is a breeze.
Bulk download: We rolled out a bulk download feature to help you simplify your workflow. Select multiple videos from your Wistia account and start the download process with just one click. We’ll zip ’em up nice and tidy for you in a handy zip file.
Media trimming in the API
Calling all developers! We’ve beefed up our API to include video editing capabilities. Trim the fat, snip the start or end — all with just a few lines of code.
